Welcome, ladies and gentleman, old and young, little and big, to the official webpage of Counter-Clockwise Studios!
What's this then, you ask?
Counter-Clockwise Studios is a team (more of a band, really), of, for now, three members, who have united in hope of creating PC games!
Yes, you heard right, PC games! You can find out more about the team and projects on this webpage, where we'll post the freshest news about our progress.
But what kind of projects are we talking about?
For now it's just one project, the creation of an RPG* game, for now named "A Lumberjack's Tale" (name could be changed).
The story goes around Joseph (Joe for his friends), who comes home after a hard day of lumberjacking about, cutting down trees and such, where he discovers that his wife disappeared! He right away starts to search the house, from top to bottom, and finally finds a letter. "I've kidnapped your wife" it was written in the letter left by the evil demon Morgundil, who, dispite of his regular demonic activities, always finds time for his favourite hobby - gardening.
What does Joe do?
He takes his axe and goes on a quest to find his dear!
Besides Joe, the game will have 5 other contolable characters, who will run, lurk, follow, pursue and preferably walk around the world of Felicitas (which looks like a smiley, by the way), they will solve many quests, collect varoius items, and of course, fight against a very colorful collection of monsters, with the help of a huge arsenal of weapons, magic and special abilities!
In short, the game should be finished by the end of 2006., and it will be COMPLETELY, yes, you heard me, COMPLETELY free! ;)
You can find out all about the further game details here, where we shall also publish the alpha, beta and demo versions of the game, and where we will answer all of questions, as well as post our beta-tester requests.
The whole game is being developed in RPG Maker XP, a very usefull program (sale's department), the story is being developed in the very imaginative mind of torgue, who also recruits new members, while everything else is being done by me, like web administration, playing with photoshop, and a bit of spriteing.
Send all of your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can simply leave them in the commentaries.
*RPG - Role Playing Game - a game in which you take control of one or more characters in a particular story, solving quests and fighting against various monsters.

There's a chance we'll open up a chat room, but we need to see some forum activity first, so please, visit the forum.
Here are the current team members - and no, we don't have any open positions. Yet.
Name: Denis Salopek
Also known as: sale
Place in team: Master Coder, Main RPG Maker XP Guru, Maper, etc. Does almost everything, because he's good at almost everything.
Name: Krešimir Štefanić
Also known as: torgue, jkill
Place in team: Writer. Has a wild imagination, which makes him responsible for allof the characters, the storyline and so on.
Name: Marko Kolarek
Also known as: kolarek, geo metry (don't ask why)
Place in team: Generally speaking, a lazy jerk. In the beginning he was the communication link between sale and torgue, but now he's the web administrator on this page. He also does some spriting and some plays around in photoshop a little, but not much, since he's allergic to work.

As kolarek already mentioned, our first project is an RPG, currently called "A Lumberjack's Tale". The tool with which we are developing the game is RPG Maker XP.
The story goes around a young lumberjack Joseph (or Joe to his friends) whose wife was kidnapped by an evil demon. From this game you can expect: the exploration of Felicitas, a world consisting of three continents, 50 or more quests, 60 pieces of weaponry (can you collect them all :)), and a story which will glue you to your monitor with it's three different endings.
The game will probably be finished by the end of 2006.
And after that? Only God knows... ;)

Joe and his hacienda, or crib, if you wish.
Joe in a tavern. Please pay attention to the hooded guy. He looks kinda mysteriously mysterious, doesn't he? :)
Joe in a very tense and complex conversation with a small child.
